Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play action RPG from the same creators of Genshin Impact. The game is set in a near future where a mysterious natural disaster known as the “Hollows” has happened. These are hostile alternate dimensions that contain dangers and resources. A new megacity called New Eridu has sprung up that has developed the technology to coexist with the Hollows.

You play as a Proxy, a newcomer to New Eridu, who joins a group called the “Syndicate” to venture into the Hollows. Proxies are vital as the Hollows are labyrinthine and filled with dangerous creatures called the Ethereal. You will build a team of up to three and fight your way through the Hollows in fast-paced action combat.



Zenless Zone Zero Playstation Exclusive

Zenless Zone Zero has finally made its way to console and Playstation bagged a 6-month exclusive contract. The game officially launched for Playstation 5 on July 4, 2024.

It was listed pre-launch with a price tag which confused everyone as the game is supposed to be a free-to-play one. And it is. The one listed was a starter pack that included rewards and in-game content. While it looked interesting, many opted to wait for launch day and download the game for free.

As for Xbox players, January 2025 COULD be the time you can play it considering that Playstation does not extend the exclusivity contract. For that, time will tell. For now, let’s enjoy playing Zenless Zone Zero for free on Playstation!

Some reminders though when you played the game on PC or mobile. If you want to sync your data, you can, as long as you link your PSN account to the HoYoverse ID you used on PC/mobile. Also, the saved data will only sync if you’re playing on the same server (servers are per region). Meaning, if you played on the American server, you can only sync with devices on the American server; you cannot move the data if you are now playing on the European or Asian server.
