Games Leaving PlayStation Plus August 2024

Update August 8 – For the second month in a row, Sony Playstation surprised its members with an updated Last Chance to Play. A move, for obvious reasons, is not popular in the community. Not only did the list grow but it also updated quite close to when the games depart the service which leaves not much time to finish. With the update, a total of 10 titles are now set to leave Playstation Plus on August 20 including crowd favorites Lost Judgement and Sea of Stars.

  • Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed
  • Trials of Mana
  • Spellforce III: Reforced

Original publication – The full list of games leaving Playstation plus for August has now been released. A total of eight games are set to depart, of which three are the Essential games for this month. Heavy hitters Among Us, Borderlands 3, and NHL 24 will make their way out of service on August 5 just in time for August’s rotation.

As for PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers, great games like Need for Speed Unbound, Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed, and NBA 2K24 are included in the list.

Here’s all the confirmed titles that will make their exit on August 20, 2024.


  • Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed (PS4, PS5)
  • NBA 2K24 (PS4, PS5)
  • Need For Speed Unbound (PS5)
  • SpellForce 3 Reforced (PS4, PS5)
  • Trials of Mana (PS4)
 

 

If you’re looking for “quick” trophies, the best you can do/try are Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed and Trials of Mana. They are not easy and quick but relatively compared to the rest of the bunch. Good thing Sony released the list early so we get ample time to finish some on the list. Or if you’re dedicated, maybe even all it!

NBA 2K24 isn’t just leaving the Playstation Plus world but also Game Pass. It was added to GP on March 11 and barely six months in service, it will make its exit on August 31, 2024.
