Here’s the first wave of games leaving Xbox Game Pass for September 2024. An initial 6-game list has been confirmed to depart in the first half of the month.

Games Leaving Game Pass September 2024

Another month, another set of games leaving Game Pass. And like previous ones, it’s a set of great games of different genres. As Microsoft updated the Xbox Game Pass Leaving Soon section, we have confirmation of 6 games departing from the service on September 15.

While there are normally surprises before the scheduled date, last month was different (actually very few announcements) and could be the standard moving forward. And if this is the case, then it’s only these six for wave 1.

The “youngest” on the list is Payday 3 which entered Game Pass September 2023. So not bad at all considering that was a full year to gather its achievements and complete the game. But if you weren’t able to or maybe just got your subscription, it will take roughly 35 hours to get all 22 achievements. Even if you’re not after achievements, this is a pretty solid game so you wouldn’t want to miss out playing this for free.

Another on the list is FIFA 23 which will be leaving Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play. Unlike the rest on the list, instead of departing on the 15th, it will do so on the 16th. In the end, FIFA 23 was a title accessible to Ultimate members because of the EA Play included with their subscription.

While this is sad news, we can also look forward to the games entering Game Pass this month with the first one joining today, Star Trucker.
