Key Facts
Update March 19 – The first two games have already left the service and now the second wave is announced. There are three titles leaving the service on March 31 which includes Hot Wheels Unleashed: Game of the Year Edition, MLB The Show 23, and Infinite Guitars, MLB The Show 23 is making an exit the same month its 2024 edition launches and enters the service.
Update March 9 – A recent Editor’s Note was published by Xbox News that Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered will no longer be leaving the service on March 15. Although some people can still see the game in the Leaving Soon part in their apps, most do not anymore. The Editor’s Note should be enough to clarify this confusion however.
Microsoft has just announced the first wave of games leaving Game Pass this month. It’s a short list (yey!) but rumor has it that this first wave is not final. Meaning, in the next couple of days, we might see more titles leave the service by March 15, 2024.
For now, check out these games if you haven’t played them yet as you only have 2 weeks left until you cannot play them for free anymore.
The five titles leaving Game Pass March 2024 are the following:
If time isn’t in your favor though or you just want a copy for future use, know that these games are 20% off until they depart from service.
While it is always sad to see games leave Game Pass, at least the games that are joining the service this month have been revealed. And there are some pretty good ones in there like Diablo 4 and a couple of day-one launches with Lightyear Frontier and Open Roads.

It’s a shame, because I liked the concept and was planning to play it soon. Cutting up and reselling parts of spaceship wrecks is pretty original. I’ll probably pick it up on Steam in that case, as it’s not very expensive.
