Lost Skies: Launch Date Revealed

Lost Skies is Bossa Studios’ open-world exploration game published in collaboration with Humble Games. An exploration and crafting game that takes us among the skies. Searching for the mystery that led to the fall of the ancient civilization. Using the mysterious energy source Atlas, which keeps the islands floating in the sky. Offering an open world to explore in co-op, aboard our flying ship.

A true flying fortress that we can upgrade and customize however we want. Facing the dangers of the skies and discovering new areas and mysteries. Lost Skies: Early Access Date Confirmed

With the conclusion of the Lost Skies Demo Trial at the beginning of March, the Bossa Studios team finally brings the long-awaited news. Announcing the Early Access date of Lost Skies for April 18, 2025, on Steam.

Accompanied by a dedicated trailer that takes us into a world where we will navigate the skies. A world full of life, mysteries, but also many dangers with epic aerial battles. Finding and rediscovering lost technologies to face the challenges of the skies.

 

Lost Skies: What the Early Access Offers and the Latest News

With the announcement of the long-awaited release date, the team talks more in-depth about what the Early Access of Lost Skies will offer. A decision the team made instead of a 1.0 launch to create the game with the valuable input from the community. Offering in Early Access:

  • Game World: Early Access will offer the first region of the game with The Outskirts. An archipelago with a mix of islands created by the team and the community. With 3 islands, each with different fauna, enemies, and difficulties.
  • Boss: The Outskirts will also be home to the first Herald boss of the game. A giant mechanical creature that will test the strength and coordination of players.
  • Building and Crafting: The main features of Lost Skies will be available right from the start in an extended way. With improvements and further additions coming soon.
  • Co-op: It will be possible to play in co-op during Early Access. Players will be able to customize their ship depending on whether they are playing solo or with friends.

A launch on April 18, 2025, with the team confirming on Steam that many news will be coming. Not only with a new Community Dev Q&A but also streamers like Mizkif, Tectone, and Force Gaming showing the game in advance. All this will be accompanied by the upcoming announcement of the Early Access Roadmap.
