Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2: Myths and Mortals launched a few days ago, and it added new map locations, new weapons, flying abilities, and, of course, a Battle Pass.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2: Myths and Mortals is now available, so, without stalling, let’s jump straight into all the changes and new content in Epic Games’ battle royale.
Legendary Map Locations
As with every new season in Fortnite there are several new weapons to find and equip, including the Thunderbolt of Zeus, a special weapon that allows the user to rise into the air and throw three powerful lighting bolts at their enemies.
Let’s take a look at the weapons now available during Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2.
New Weapons
Epic has also added the Thermal Scope and Speedgrip weapon mods alongside these new weapons. The Thermal Mod doubles the scope view and adds a thermal effect to any scoped weapon, and the Speedgrip allows for quicker movement speed while aiming.
On top of the new locations and weapons comes a new ability, flight, with the help of the Wings of Icarus. By equipping the Wings of Icarus players can soar into the skies and attack from the air. But just as with the legendary tale, flying too long will result in the wings burning up sending players plummeting to the ground. Later in the season Epic expect to give players another Olympian Power, the Chains of Hades.
Finally, there is the Battle Pass, which completes every new Fortnite season. In this season’s Battle Pass, players can grab Olympian Outfits to represent various gods.

The Battle Pass is available until May 24 at 2am ET.
