Take Flight! The Forever Skies PS5 Demo Lets You Explore the Skies – Try It Now!
A few days ago, the demo for Forever Skies came out! Hop into your airship and explore a destroyed Earth.
Forever Skies is a survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world. In the game, you return to Earth, which has been hit by a series of ecological disasters. You start this journey alone and with really limited resources. The most important thing for survival is your airship. It’s your base, and you use it to travel around the planet and explore different places.
You can also upgrade the airship with a bunch of different technologies. But to do that, you obviously need resources, which you’ll find on the planet. These trips aren’t without danger though; there are lots of never-before-seen creatures and other threats. So you always need to keep an eye on your surroundings.
As you keep playing, you’ll also notice that Earth has been hit by a mysterious disease. To cure it, you have to collect samples from the surface. Forever Skies already released in June 2023 for PC. But soon, it’ll also be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The developers are still working on the game, and it’s expected to leave the Early Access phase in spring 2025. Recently, they even started playtesting the co-op mode, so get excited for everything else that’s coming in Forever Skies!
Forever Skies Demo
The latest demo for Forever Skies dropped exclusively for PlayStation on November 12th. This demo lets you explore a part of the game and travel with your airship. It aims to show as many features of the game as possible, so a specific section of the game was chosen. The demo takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours to complete.

You can loot lots of places to find supplies and useful technology. You use these to power up and steer your airship, which makes exploring the open world possible. For PlayStation 5, they’ve added some exclusive features. Thanks to the adaptive triggers of the DualSense controller, the tools feel even more unique.
You even get a reward for playing the demo. If you complete all the tasks, you’ll get an exclusive airship for PlayStation for free once the game officially releases. You can even paint this airship with PlayStation-inspired blue tones.
Forever Skies Demo for Other Platforms
The Forever Skies demo is, unfortunately, only available for PlayStation 5. So it looks like Xbox players won’t get a chance to try the game before release, and it’s already out in Early Access on PC anyway.
