FINAL FANTASY 14: ENDWALKER HITS 25 MILLION PLAYERS
Final Fantasy XIV goes from strength to strength, and thanks to the Endwalker expansion, Square Enix has confirmed that it has 25 million registered players.
In October of this year, the game hit 24 million, meaning that 1 million new players have joined thanks to this last update.
According to Steamdb, the game reached a new all-time peak of 95,150 concurrent players during its early access period over the last weekend.
That beat its previous peak of 67,000 back in July, and that came after many players moved over from World of Warcraft after the fallout from workplace misconduct at Activision Blizzard.
Remember that these numbers are from Steam and don’t include other platforms such as PlayStation.
FINAL FANTASY 14: ENDWALKER NEW FEATURES
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker adds the new Sage and Reaper jobs to the MMO, with Sage, the new healers since Heavesward, and Reaper, a new melee fighter.
The level cap increases from 80 to 90 for jobs and classes, which means more formidable enemies and more challenges.
You can now explore new territories as Warriors of Light, encounter new tribes, and participate in an all-new high-difficulty raid.
There is plenty of new content and many reasons to jump back into Final Fantasy XIV.
