Far Cry 6 is the next-gen first-person open-world shooter developed by Ubisoft Toronto and will be the sixth main entry in the series.
What Is Far Cry 6 About?
Far Cry 6 takes place on Yara, a fictional Caribbean island. Inspired by Cuba, it is the “largest Far Cry playground to date.”
A tropical paradise, Yara is ruled by the fascist dictator, Antón Castillo, played by Giancarlo Esposito.
Castillo controls the island with an iron fist and is preparing his son to take his place as the country’s leader when the time for him to step up comes.
Players take on Dani Rojas’s role, a guerilla soldier fighting for freedom for them and their country.

Far Cry 6 Gameplay
The Guns for Hire system that made an appearance in Far Cry 5 is back, allowing Dani to recruit animal companions, this time around it’s called Amigos for Hire.
The animal companion revealed so far is Chorizo, an adorable paraplegic Dachshund showcased below. How cute.
To get the authenticity they were after, Ubisoft sent a team to Cuba to explore the culture and talk to the locals and actual guerillas.
The result of which is a dynamic world where people have all sorts of reasons to join a guerilla revolution.
Some want to shoot guns, others want to free their country, and others want to be a part of something.
Far Cry 6 features more verticality than previous Far Cry games, offering players a chance to approach things a little differently.
Dani can navigate rooftops and alleyways, opening up a better opportunity for stealth and increasing the feeling of oppression when exploring the capital city.
