After a leak, we finally got confirmation on when F1 2021 will officially launch. Through a trailer, which you can watch above, EA and Codemasters confirmed that the game is set to launch July 16, 2021. F1 2021 – New Story Mode Announced
F1 2021 features a new story mode called “Braking Point” which Codemasters revealed they have been working for “for years” and is set to “expand the gameplay experience.”
In Braking Point, players will experience “the highs and lows of everyday life in Formula 1 on and off the track,” Codemasters Franchise Game Director Lee Mather said.
The story mode will include familiar features like My Team pilot manager game mode, split-screen mode for 2 players, shortened F1 and F2 seasons, and esports integration among others.
Expanded Career Mode
The game’s career mode has also been expanded with the addition of a new 2-player option. This allows you and a friend to play online in co-op, or against each other. Each player has the liberty to choose which driving aids to use, allowing even the inexperienced ones to keep up with veterans on the track.
Also added is the new ‘Real Season Start’ option where players can align their careers with the real-world F1 season.
