WHEN IS THE NEXT STEAM SALE?
In a refreshing twist, Valve is no longer keeping their Steam sales a closely-guarded secret, and instead, they have revealed the dates of every Steam sale from now through July.
Every Steam Sale of 2022:
- February 21 – February 28: Steam Next Fest February 2022
- Feb. 28 – March 7: Remote Play Together 2022
- March 14 – March 21: JRPG Sale
- March 28 – April 4: SimFest – Hobby Edition
- May 2 – May 9: Die-a-lot Sale
- May 23 – May 30: Racing Sale
- June 23 – July 7: Steam Summer Sale 2022
- July 12 – July 15: Survival Sale
The next Steam sale after the Steam Lunar New Year Sale 2022 is the Steam Next Fest: February 2022 Edition.
Next Fest is a celebration of upcoming games, letting you explore and play demos, chat with developers, and watch dev livestreams.
The Steam Next Fest February 2022 Edition begins on February 21 and ends on February 28.
WHEN IS THE STEAM SUMMER SALE 2022?
The Steam Summer Sale 2022 takes place between June 23 – July 7.
The Steam Summer Sale 2022 is one of Steam’s most significant sale events and will see thousands of games feature massive discounts.
Other large Steam sales include the Steam Spring Sale 2022, Steam Halloween Sale 2022, Steam Autumn Sale 2022, and Steam Winter Sale 2022.
Valve is yet to reveal the dates of other sales after July, but when they do, you will be able to read about them here on Allkeyshop.
VALVE ANNOUNCE CHANGES FOR DEVELOPERS AND DISCOUNTS
In another surprise announcement, Valve has revealed that they are now allowing developers and publishers to place their games on sale every four weeks.
Typically, games could only go on discount every six weeks, but we could now see more Steam flash sales on individual titles and publisher collections with the change to four weeks.
And finally, developers and publishers can no longer discount their games for less than 10%, as Valve looks to give Steam users the best sales and offers.
