Enshrouded: Celebrating 2 Million Players & 2,600 Suggestions for Improvement

Recently, the development team behind Enshrouded, Keen Games GmbH, released some news regarding the title. Most notably, they announced reaching a milestone of 2 Million players in just a month since launch!

What is Enshrouded

Enshrouded is a title developed and published by the team at Keen Games GmbH. Categorizing the title into a single genre isn’t easy though, as Enshrouded blends an Action RPG style with Survival and Open-world Crafting experiences, along with cooperative Sandbox approach. Set in the fantasy realm of Embervale, you’ll play as a Flameborn, among the last of your kind. Your goal is to revive Embervale and, most importantly, eradicate the plague, caused by your ancestors, that has now pervaded the realm.

Enshrouded offers everything you’d expect from a classic survival and base-building game, but with a visible storyline and objective right from the start. You’ll need to explore and upgrade both skills and equipment to push further into Embervale. Encounter fierce enemies but also enjoy the company of up to 16 players. Not to mention a robust combat system that allows you to build structures, create character builds, and discover more about the game world.

Enshrouded: Community Success and Feedback

Despite being in early access, Keen Games GmbH’s title has quickly captured the interest of many players. So much so that within just a month, the team announced in their latest Steam post that they’ve reached the milestone of 2 Million players with an 86% positive feedback. The team extends their gratitude to the players and promises to work hard to live up to the trust they’ve received, stating that this is just the beginning.

Indeed, the team plans to release a patch soon with many necessary hotfixes for the game and to consider all the feedback and suggestions received, implementing those that would most help the title. They’ve even created a dedicated page where every player can provide their suggestions and feedback on the Enshrouded feedback board.

Enshrouded Roadmap

The Keen Games team already has ideas on what to bring to Enshrouded in the upcoming updates, including:

• The option to freely complete every quest.
• Improving the Quest Log to communicate quest status more accurately.
• Reducing boss and various respawn times to 30 minutes.

Most likely, after selecting and reviewing the various feedback from the dedicated page, Keen Games will release the Enshrouded roadmap, at least until the official launch date planned for 2025.
