Playstation Plus Sweepstakes Promo Period and Eligibility
The PlayStation Plus 30th Anniversary Sweepstakes begins on December 9, 2024, at 12:01 AM PST / 9:01 AM CET and ends on December 23, 2024, at 12:01 PM PST / 9:01 PM CET. Be sure to check your local time so you don’t miss out on the fun.
This sweepstakes is only open to Australia, Austria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, United States, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
Participants must be at least 18 years old to join and must have a PSN account. Note that employees of Sony Group companies and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
How to enter Playstation Plus Sweepstakes?
There are two ways to enter the sweepstakes. The first is through automatic entry via purchase. New subscribers can qualify by purchasing a 1, 3, or 12-month subscription to PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe and playing any game from the Classics Catalog during the promotion period. Existing PlayStation Plus Extra or Essential members can upgrade to Premium/Deluxe and also qualify by playing a game from the Classics Catalogue.
The second method is the Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE) without purchase. Current Premium/Deluxe members need to only play any game from the Classics Catalogue during the promo period. Non-subscribers can also join by submitting an online entry form available on the PlayStation website. Each participant is limited to one entry so make it count!
The Classic Catalog features iconic games from the PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PSP eras. This curated collection includes timeless classics like Resident Evil: Director’s Cut, Syphon Filter, Ape Escape, Dino Crisis, Forbidden Siren, and Jak and Daxter series.
Also as part of PlayStation’s 30th-anniversary celebration, the Sly Cooper Trilogy which includes Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves has been added to the catalog
Prize Drawing and Winner Notification
Winners from each participating country or region will be selected through a random drawing by the respective regional sponsor on or around January 13, 2025. Winners will be notified via the email associated with their PSN account and are required to respond within 5 days. Failure to respond within this period may result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.
A total of 30 winners will be drawn in each participating country.
