Warhammer 40K: Space Marine II marks the grand return of the third-person shooter series by Saber Interactive. Based on the Warhammer 40,000 franchise, it’s an acclaimed sequel and one of the major games of 2024. Once again, we step into the shoes of the iconic Space Marines to defeat the Tyranid forces.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine II – Trygon Update Now Available
The highly anticipated Patch 7.0 for Space Marine 2 is now available. Saber Interactive officially announced the availability of the Trygon Update on April 15th. This substantial update was revealed in early 2025 as the second part of the Year One Battle Plan.
This update brings a lot of new content, including free additions such as a new mode, enemies, weapons, and other unlockables. Additionally, there’s the new Battle Pass with various cosmetic content. Finally, numerous gameplay improvements and balance changes, including the long-awaited private PvP lobbies.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine II: New Features with Update 7
The Trygon Update for Space Marine 2 is the second update of 2025. Following the Datavault Update released in February, which brought a new PvP map, Emotes, Absolute Difficulty, and various QoL changes. With Trygon, the team introduces:
- New PvE Operation: Exfiltration
- Inferno Pistol, Skins, and Cosmetics
- Season Pass with Space Wolves Chapter Pack and Imperial Fists Champion Pack
- Private PvP Lobbies and Improved Matchmaking
- Numerous fixes and balance changes to Weapons, Perks, and Buffs
The new Exfiltration operation will take us to Avarax, on the outskirts of the Imperial Hive City, now overrun by Tyranids. The objective is to make our way through the city to reach the Mechanicus. There, we will need to extract a fleeing Tech-Priest and face the fearsome new Trygon. More in-depth information is available on the official site.
