Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Announced for PC – Are You Ready to Join the Battle?
Sega confirmed Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is coming to PC! Gear up for intense battles and iconic fights in this legendary game series.
Sega’s Virtua Fighter series debuted in 1993 in arcades and quickly became one of the most groundbreaking fighting games ever. Known for its cutting-edge 3D graphics and innovative technology, the game was considered ahead of its time.
The last mainline release, Virtua Fighter 5, first hit arcades in 2006 before making its way to the PlayStation 3 in 2007. It released an updated version, Final Showdown, which launched in the 2010s for Xbox and PS3, and then a full remake, Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, released exclusively on PS4.
Since then, fans have been waiting and wondered if the game would ever return.
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Will Launch on PC
Sega has now answered the call, announcing the series’ return on PC. Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O will be released via Steam and will include features introduced in Ultimate Showdown like character customization and costumes but in 60 FPS and with 4K resolution support.
Revo will feature modes like Arcade, Training, Versus, and Rank Match. Players will also be able to design their own online tournaments and leagues for up to 16 players. There’s also the option to watch and learn from top players in Spectator Mode as you refine your skills.
The full inclusion and features have not been revealed yet but it is expected to be in the next few weeks.
When is Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Release Date?
While the game is confirmed to release on PC, there is no actual release date announced yet. It was, however, communicated that it will be in “winter” so if that is correct, we should be seeing Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. very soon.
