UK Charts – FIFA 22 Holds Top Spot Ahead of Far Cry 6 & Alan Wake
FIFA 22 once again tops the UK boxed game chart, while Far Cry 6, Metroid Dread, and Alan Wake Remastered also make the top 10.

UK BOXED GAME CHARTS TOP 10
The UK Boxed Game Chart represents the top best-selling games at retail in the UK, and FIFA is predictably leading sales.
It’s not all good news for EA, though, as once again, physical sales of FIFA 22 have dropped 35% compared to FIFA 21, and last year FIFA 21 was down 42% on FIFA 20 boxed sales.
The downward trend of boxed sales continues with Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6 seeing a 70% drop compared to Far Cry 5
Perhaps it should not be all that surprising as the coronavirus pandemic and worldwide lockdowns last year saw digital video game sales outperform physical sales for the first time in history.
It’s not all bad news, though, as Metroid Dread became the fastest-selling Metroid game ever in the UK.
It only missed out on Metroid Prime’s physical sales record by fewer than 1,000 copies.
