Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment are working on a new Star Wars open-world game.
We don’t know anything about it so far, but a recent tweet suggests we may hear about it soon.
Ubisoft creative director tweeted, “2023 is going to be huge for us.”
STAR WARS: UBISOFT’S UPCOMING OPEN-WORLD GAME
Ubisoft creative director Julian Gerighty has stirred the rumor mill and raised the hopes of Star Wars fans everywhere after a recent tweet.
Taking to Twitter, Gerighty posted, “Happy New Year to you all. 2023 is going to be huge for us. Join the adventure.”
The tweet accompanied a picture of the Star Wars logo with Ubisoft, Massive Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games.
Many believed the tweet to be an announcement that the upcoming open-world Star Wars game will release in 2023 and may even have a game trailer soon.
However, Gerighty followed up his tweet by saying, “This seems to have sparked some interest! To be clear, I meant that 2023 will be huge for our teams building our game (which you could be part of!).”
So, although we still wait on official news of Massive Entertainment’s upcoming Star Wars game, we may hear about it sooner than later.
