PlayStation State of Play September 2024 rumors
PlayStation State of Play is going to happen on September 24. Jeff Grub spoke about the upcoming Sony event on the Giant Bomb podcast. Although we have heard nothing from Sony, this State of Play is expected to focus mostly on third-party games and give us a roadmap of future first-party PS5 titles.
On the Giant Bomb podcast, Grubb mentioned how PlayStation could officially unviel the recently leaked Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster. He also revealed “there is some other remaster kind of in the works,” but did quickly say it would “less exciting” than Horizon Zero Dawn and therefore not likely to be Bloodborne. PlayStation State of Play: What We could See
With the recent announcement of the PS5 Pro, Sony will likely want to show it off through the rest of 2024. The State of Play could be a chance to see more of Sony’s console, particularly with PS5 pre-orders going live on September 26. We may also see more of the upcoming LEGO Horizon Adventures and Astro Bot, and there is hope from fans that Bungie’s PvP extraction shooter Marathon will feature.
Other highly-anticipated games that could potentially feature include EA Sports FC 25, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and Silent Hill 2 Remake. The previous game-focused State of Play in May showcased 14 games for PS5, PC, and PSVR 2. This upcoming event will likely include fresh looks, reveals, and announcements.
