RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is the new first-person adventure of RoboCop from the Teyon team. It offers a standalone game set after the fantastic and celebrated Rogue City. In this game, you play as the 80s icon, half-machine, half-human police officer Alex Murphy, dealing with a gang.

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business: Release Date Announced
Following the official announcement and game reveal in March 2025, the Teyon team and publisher Nacon bring new news. They officially announce the release date for RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business. The standalone game will be available from 17 July 2025.
The reveal comes with a new Story Trailer, telling us about the new threat that Alex Murphy will face. He must retake the OmniTower, the OCP’s latest project, now in the hands of a gang.

Rogue City certainly made a strong impact with fans of the series and video games. The Teyon team impressed many with their portrayal of RoboCop. A portrayal that evokes the great cinematic icon, slow but almost unstoppable. All this with a solid visual section and one of the best-optimized games on Unreal Engine 5.
With Unfinished Business, the team decided to opt for a standalone game rather than a DLC expansion. This choice allows the team to experiment with graphical enhancements, as well as new weapons, enemies, and a new location, with a story that also delves into Alex’s past before the events of the first film. This standalone game will be playable even without having tried Rogue City.

Unfinished Business is presented as an additional chapter to the Rogue City experience. With a new mission for Alex Murphy, new enemies, weapons, and a story. Not usual to see standalone expansions that much in the current days but there's only upsides to this model in my opinion. I just hope the price matches the value of content it contains. Robocop looks like a pretty good title, probably going to try and finish the main game before the expansion releases.
