Nacon and developer Teyon have announced RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business, a standalone expansion to 2023’s RoboCop: Rogue City, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Launching on next-gen consoles and Steam, the FPS will release in Q3 2025.
RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a new standalone expansion for RoboCop: Rogue City, the first-person shooter from Teyon. The upcoming FPS will launch in Q3 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The expansion will feature new missions and weapons and allow fans to play as Alex Murphy before he became RoboCop.
What to Expect from Unfinished Business
As a standalone follow-up, Unfinished Business sees the OCP’s OmniTower residential complex seized by highly trained mercenaries, requiring a particular part man, part machine, cop hero to deliver a certain type of justice.
While particular details remain light, it’s likely to follow the same format as RoboCop: Rogue City, which is a linear, all-action shooter focusing on spraying bullets and destroying criminals. It will, however, feature new weaponry and explore the past of Alex Murphy before the films, with all-new playable flashback missions.
Standalone Expansion: Do You Need the Base Game?
The short answer. No. Unfinished Business is a standalone DLC, meaning you won’t need to have played or own Rogue City – although it can’t hurt to have both.
A standalone expansion makes it more accessible to new players while providing returning fans with a fresh experience. We still don’t have a price or exact release date, so we can’t compare its cost compared to Rogue City.
