The Last of Us (TLOU) Part II Remastered is the remastered version of the second chapter of the Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us series. Originally released on PS4 on June 19, 2020, after a development that started in 2013. The remastered version was released on PS5 at the beginning of 2024. With an incredible announcement directly from The Game Awards 2024, the Naughty Dog team is finally ready to launch The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PC. Bringing the long-awaited sequel to the Playstation exclusive to PC, with TLOU Part 2 available from today, April 3, 2025, with the following times:
- Official launch on April 3, 2025, at 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm PT / 19:00 CEST
The sequel will therefore be available on both Steam and Epic Games Store. With some additional features optimized for PC and a new game mode. Plus, there’s an extra bonus for linking your Playstation Network account, which includes:

The Last of Us Part II Remastered: Features and New Additions
As expected, the PC version brings additional features as Remastered. These features won’t only be graphical improvements but also new additions, including:
- Performance Features: Support for Nvidia DLSS 3, FSR 3.1, and Intel XeSS Upscaling, along with AMD’s Frame Generation.
- Monitors: Support for Ultra Wide and Super Ultrawide monitors.
- Controls: Customizable mouse and keyboard controls. Full Dualsense support with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback features.
- Achievements: Unlock achievements on PC and unlock trophies on PSN with the Playstation overlay.
- No Return Mode: A survival mode with various unique characters to unlock. Plus, 2 new characters and 4 new maps.
- Guitar Free Play: Show off your musical skills in this mini-game, complete with new instruments and a Speedrun Mode for those looking for a challenge.
Additionally, Naughty Dog confirms that the game will be verified on Steam Deck. This is something many reviewers will personally test, considering the not-so-ideal performance of Part I even with the use of Frame Gen and Upscaling.
