To celebrate the launch, the Ubisoft team is releasing several videos on the Official Youtube Channel, showing the creative process and collaborations with various artists.

The most unique and appreciated is the Behind The Scenes of BANG BANG! or My Neurodivergent Anthem. Created by Galantis/Christian Karlsson, this song, released in 2023, reveals the artist’s ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). The condition is still stigmatized today, but is gradually receiving more recognition.

In the BTS, the Ubisoft team discusses the choreography for BANG BANG! by Galantis, crafted to reflect ADHD themes. The resulting choreography embodies meaningful themes for those with ADHD or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), like:

  • Movements: The Coach’s movements mirror the erratic hyperactivity of ADHD while demonstrating “hyperfocus” phases with precise, almost robotic moves.
  • Lines: The colorful lines represent the numerous thoughts experienced by those with ADHD, visualized to form the infinity symbol of neurodiversity.
  • Masking: “masking” is when neurotypical behavior is imitated by those with ADHD to fit in. The Coach thus eventually removes the mask to embrace ADHD acceptance.
