How to redeem a Steam Gift Card
Follow these steps to redeem a Steam Gift Card to your Steam Wallet.
1. Go to https://store.steampowered.com/ and log into your Steam account. If you don’t have a Steam account yet, it’s easy to create one.
2. Once logged in, click your username at the upper-right corner of the page, then select: Account Details.
3. Click “+Add funds to your Steam Wallet”.
4. You will then be directed to the Steam Wallet – Add Funds page. Under YOUR STEAM ACCOUNT (where you will see your Wallet balance), click “Redeem a Steam Gift Card or Wallet Code.”
5. Now enter the code in the box provided, then click “Continue.” Your Wallet balance will be updated with the amount you just redeemed.
Why is my Steam code not working?
You followed the step by step tutorial to redeem your Gift Card, but it’s not working ?
1. Sometimes, we are going too fast or are distracted, so first of all double check who issued your gift card and follow the appropriate tutorial
2. Maybe you are facing an issue while entering your code on the website.
The codes are 25 digit characters long, grouped by 5 and separated by dashes:
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
Make sure you didn’t forget any digit
3. Last thing to check, make sure you differentiate: 0 (zero) and O (letter), 1 and capital letter i, B and 8, etc
