The Rainbow Six Siege community is in for a surprise as Ubisoft drops a limited-time closed beta for Dual Front, the game’s brand-new 6v6 mode. This unexpected reveal has sparked excitement among players, as it introduces a fresh twist to Siege’s tactical gameplay, offering new challenges and strategies for both veterans and newcomers.

Dual Front is set to become a permanent addition to Rainbow Six Siege, expanding the traditional 5v5 experience with a more intense 6v6 format. Players can form squads from a hand-picked roster of 35 Operators, allowing unique Attacker-Defender combinations never seen before. The objective is simple yet strategic: capture enemy sectors while holding your own, all set on Siege’s largest map to date.

How to Join Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta

The R6 Siege X Closed Beta is scheduled from March 13th at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM CET to March 19th at the same times. This beta is accessible on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Ubisoft Connect, without the need to own a copy of the base game.

To Access the Closed Beta:

• Watch eligible Twitch Channels: If you weren’t able to claim during the first Twitch drop on the recently concluded R6 Siege X Showcase, you can tune in to these channels. Drops will be released throughout the duration of the closed beta.
• Earn a Closed Beta Twitch Drop: Watch at least 30 minutes of eligible streams to receive a Closed Beta access drop. Remember to claim your drop in your Twitch inventory.
• Select Your Platform: After claiming the drop, you’ll receive an email prompting you to choose your preferred platform:​
  • PC Users: The Closed Beta will be added directly to your Ubisoft Connect library.​ You may check the system requirements here.
  • PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S Users: You’ll receive a platform-specific beta key to redeem in the respective store.

Ubisoft has confirmed that some players haven’t received their beta access emails as expected. They’ve assured the community though that they’re aware of the issue and actively working on a fix. If you’re still waiting for your invite, hang tight, support teams are on it.
