Spooky Savings Await: Halloween Sale with Up to 80% Off – Valid Until Nov 1!
Halloween is just around the corner, and you can already see spooky things almost everywhere. The same goes for Epic Games. During the Epic Games Halloween Sale, you can get up to 80% off horror games. Here, you’ll learn about the best deals and how to save even more.
Epic Games Halloween Sale
The Epic Games Halloween Sale is currently ongoing. It just started a few days ago on October 18 and will continue throughout October until November 1. In this sale, you can save up to 80% on selected games at Epic Games. Primarily, it features horror games, but there are also some non-horror games. So it’s definitely worth checking out Epic Games. But before you buy anything, remember to compare prices with AllKeyShop, as you can often save even more that way.
Alan Wake Franchise
One of the horror franchises you can save on during the Epic Games Halloween Sale is Alan Wake. The Alan Wake franchise consists of two games: Alan Wake and Alan Wake 2. There’s even a remake of the first game. You step into the role of Alan Wake, a successful writer. In the first game, Alan travels with his wife Alice to the town of Bright Falls. But suddenly, his wife disappears.
From that point, Alan is trapped in a seemingly endless nightmare. His wife is gone, but that’s not the only strange thing. He finds manuscripts that he wrote, yet has no memory of writing them. And the events described in those manuscripts begin to come true in real life. Alan must now face eerie dark forces in Bright Falls.
You play the game from a third-person perspective, using a flashlight to see your enemies. The enemies are weakened by the light and can only be stopped that way. Accordingly, darkness is a central theme in the game and also your biggest enemy, as monsters lurk there. However, your flashlight battery doesn’t last forever, so you need to conserve energy.
The sequel, Alan Wake 2, picks up where the first game left off. So if you enjoyed the first part and want to know how the story continues, you should definitely check out the second part.
The remastered version of Alan Wake 1 is currently available at Epic Games for 7.49€, down 75% from 29.99€. The sequel Alan Wake 2 is discounted by 50% and is now only 24.99€.
Dying Light Franchise
Next up, I wanted to show you the Dying Light franchise. There are two Dying Light games. The first game was released in 2015, and the sequel, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, came out in 2022. These are open-world horror zombie games that you can even play in co-op mode with up to four players.
The first game takes place in the city of Harran, which has been infected by a mysterious zombie virus. You play as Kyle Crane, an undercover agent sent into Harran’s quarantine zone to find a potential cure from a dangerous faction. This mission quickly turns into a fight for survival as you get caught between different factions and try to uncover the truth behind the outbreak.
The gameplay focuses heavily on exploration and parkour elements. You can jump over rooftops and climb to avoid zombies or get a better angle to fight them. The Dying Light games feature various weapons, including melee weapons like baseball bats, as well as guns, rifles, and grenades. But all your weapons can break over time, meaning you constantly have to adapt.
The game also features a day and night cycle, which is very relevant to the gameplay. Zombies are relatively slow and weak during the day but turn into dangerous killers at night, often attacking in large groups. There are various types of zombies, adding a lot of variety and preventing the game from becoming boring over time.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human is the sequel and takes place 20 years after the first game. It revolves around Aiden Caldwell, who is searching for his lost sister. This game features many improved mechanics, especially regarding the parkour elements. There are also many choices that impact the world around you.
Dying Light 2 is currently available at a 60% discount during the Epic Games Halloween Sale, costing only 23.99€ instead of the usual 59.99€. Unfortunately, Dying Light 1 is not available on Epic Games at the moment, but you can find it at the best price on AllKeyShop.

Maybe you don’t have a PC and want to play Alan Wake or Dying Light on another console? No problem! AllKeyShop shows you the best prices for all platforms.
