GOD OF WAR LIVE-ACTION TV SERIES COMING TO PRIME
Amazon has officially announced that a live-action TV series based on Sony’s PS4 and PS5 God of War franchise will come to Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories.
Announcing the series, Amazon Studio head of global television, Vernon Sanders, said, “The God of War is a compelling, character-driven franchise that we believe will captivate our global customers as much with its expansive and immersive worlds as its rich storytelling,”
The news comes after God of War Ragnarok was released in November and became the fastest-selling first-part video game for the PlayStation consoles after selling more than 5 million copies in the first week.
Amazon’s God of War series will follow other game franchises like The Witcher and Resident Evil on Netflix, Halo on Paramount +, and Prime Video’s upcoming The Last of Us.
