Sony has updated the Last Chance to Play section on Playstation Plus but without any official announcement yet. Although for sure it will be out soon, it somehow implies that this is a preliminary list and will have more games added to it.

A total of 10 titles are included, which looking back at this month’s is not so bad. September’s leaving titles initially had 12 games but ended with 16, just a few days before they were set to leave the catalog.

So if you want to make the most out of your subscription, you’re going to have to check the Last Chance to Play more now than ever, seeing that surprise addition is PS Plus’s way recently.

Here’s all the confirmed titles that will make their exit on October 22, 2024.

While the headliners for this departing list are Gotham Knights and Dragon Quest XI S, two other titles are worth noting. First is LittleBigPlanet 3 which is a first-party title. This “incident” follows Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West, also both first-party titles, which left the service. This is still dumbfounding to Playstation users since there really aren’t licensing issues that would have justified their exit.

Second is The Evil Within. At this point, the movement is too confusing. If you were in the loop or noticed it yourself, this game was taken out of PS Plus without prior announcement nor a surprise addition in the Last Chance to Play. Then after 4 days, it’s back in the catalog. And now, it’s departing next month.

What the issue is with this title, who knows, but for now the final word is, it is leaving. It’s a shame too that it is since the game would have been perfect to play over Halloween.
