If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber wondering what’s going on with May’s departures from the Extra and Premium tiers, you’re not alone. Many gamers are confused (and a bit frustrated) that the official “Last Chance to Play” list still hasn’t been announced. Typically, Sony drops that info the day after the Game Catalog refresh, which already happened yesterday.
What’s especially strange is that fans usually don’t even need to wait for the global announcement as the Japanese PlayStation Store always updates first with a list of games leaving soon. But this time, nothing. No update. No “last chance” tags. And no clues.
Even the Redditor who reliably posts those early updates chimed in to say that the “Last Chance to Play” section on his end has completely disappeared. And sure enough, others checked and confirmed the same thing. The section is gone.
To make things even weirder, the original Reddit thread about all this got removed by the mods over on the PlayStation Plus subreddit. So not only is the announcement MIA but even the usual breadcrumbs have disappeared.
It’s unclear what’s causing the delay or why the usual sources have gone silent. A backend issue? An intentional change? Just a weird hiccup? Nobody knows. Until Sony breaks the silence, all we can do is keep refreshing and stay tuned. Only time will tell so hang tight!
