Games Leaving Game Pass April 2024

Update April 17 – The second wave of games leaving the service has been announced. The list includes 6 great games like 7 Days to Die, Loot River, and EA Sports NHL 22. It’s a sad day for GP subscribers as these six actually come in a (although not expensive) quite substantial price tags. So if you’re in the middle of any of these, you have 2 more weeks to finish before you need to buy a copy. If time isn’t in your favor though, these six titles are 20% off until they get dropped from GP.

These are the games leaving Game Pass on April 30:

  • 7 Days to Die
  • Besiege
  • EA Sports NHL 22
  • Loot River
  • Pikuniku
  • Ravenlok
   

 

Microsoft has just dropped the first wave of games leaving Game Pass this month. Unfortunately, it isn’t a short list (and we’re only on wave 1!) and we got some insanely good titles in it.

And on top of that, the list is confirmed but not final. As we’ve seen in the past couple of months, there are a lot of surprises in the Game Pass world. The most recent, although a good one, is the retraction of Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch departure in the service.

Going back to Game Pass April 2024 news, the games leaving on the 15th include:

  • Amnesia: Collection
  • Amnesia: Rebirth
  • Back 4 Blood
  • Phantom Abyss
  • Research and Destroy
  • Soma
   

 

Headlining this wave is Back 4 Blood which a lot of gamers are not happy with. If you’re in the middle of it, or worse just started, it could be a stretch to finish it as it has approximately 150-200 hours to complete.

Phantom Abyss and Research and Destroy, both really good games too, will take more or less 25 hours. Then both Amnesia games will also take roughly the same time combined. The fastest one to complete is Soma but considering it is also a great game, you’d want to experience it rather than just play it to finish.

So if you want to play these, you need to strategically manage your time. But if time isn’t in your favor or you want a copy for future use and not rush it, know that these games are 20% off until they depart from service.

While it is always sad to see games leave Game Pass, at least the games that are joining the service this month have been revealed. And there are some pretty good ones in there like Ark: Survival Ascended and the returning Superhot: Mind Control Delete. There are also a lot of day-one launches this month with 6 titles confirmed.
