Fortnite has built a legacy far beyond just being a battle royale. One of the biggest reasons for its ongoing success is its countless crossovers with beloved franchises, spanning from movies and anime to gaming icons. New Characters Reportedly Coming to Fortnite

The latest leak comes from Shpeshal Nick, co-host of the XboxEra Podcast, who has a fairly strong track record when it comes to Fortnite scoops. During a recent episode, he shared a new batch of characters reportedly making their way to the game.

According to the leak, here’s who could be arriving in Fortnite soon:

  • Tony Hawk Pro Skater characters
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 characters
  • Jack Black (Yes, just Jack Black and not connected to Minecraft, apparently)
  • More Mortal Kombat characters
  • Death Stranding characters
  • DOOM: The Dark Ages Doom Slayer
  • Double Dragon’s Billy and Jimmy
  • Agent 47 from Hitman
  • Marvel characters in a unique pixel art style
  • A mystery NBA player

The inclusion of Jack Black is one of the more curious ones as he’s a known gamer and a pop culture icon, but this isn’t tied to any specific project like Minecraft Legends or Kung Fu Panda. It seems like Fortnite just wants Jack Black, period. And as for the unnamed NBA player, there are speculations but no confirmed name has surfaced yet.

What’s especially intriguing (and exciting) is the presence of characters from Tony Hawk Pro Skater and DOOM: The Dark Ages, two franchises with new games that haven’t even launched yet. Could this mean promotional tie-ins are on the horizon? It wouldn’t be the first time Fortnite has teased upcoming titles through character skins and events.
