FINAL FANTASY 7 REMAKE PART 2 RELEASE DATE?
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is part 2 of a planned trilogy in Square Enix’s remake of Final Fantasy 7.
Announced during Square Enix’s 25th Anniversary for Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth follows on from 2020’s Final Fantasy VII Remake.
During the stream, creative director Tetsuya Nomura said Rebirth is “progressing rapidly,” and it can be enjoyed even if you’re unfamiliar with the original game.
Nomura went on to confirm that four Final Fantasy VII games are in development, including the third in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy.
As expected, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will release on PS5 exclusively, with a PC version likely to launch a year later.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will release in Winter 2023, with an exact date expected early next year.
