DOES FIFA 22 HAVE CROSS-PLAY?
It’s been a long-time coming and perhaps a little too late, but FIFA 22 is finally about to have cross-platform play.
FIFA 22 cross-play will begin as a test and is only available at first in Online Seasons and Online Friendlies.
Cross-play is only open to those on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia, with no news on whether it will come to PC, PS4, or Xbox One.
Cross-play can be enabled in the FIFA 22 main menu through a widget in the bottom right-hand corner.
Once enabled, you can play against other users and friends on the participating platforms.
EA has not given a date for when the cross-play test will start or end, and yet there is no news on whether it will be available for other game modes such as FIFA Ultimate Team.
Hopefully, the test will prove successful, and we will see cross-play in future games.
