Enshrouded – The New Features of Back to the Shroud

Released on 29 July 2024, Back to the Shroud marks the third major update for Enshrouded, the fantasy open-world base builder by Keen Games. This update brought several new features to the Early Access title, including:

  • Customizable Difficulties: The ability to configure difficulties with various settings, both in single-player and for multiplayer servers. Options include Relaxed, Hard, Survival, and Custom.
  • Props: The introduction of armor stands or weapon racks to display your gear. Plus, mannequins with various poses.
  • Customization: New color settings for character skin, eyes, and eyebrows.

Additionally, there are various improvements to combat, making it smoother. The weapon crafting menu is simpler, new game areas have been added, class balances have been made, and much more, as noted in the official post.
