Get ready to gear up and lock in your sights as Delta Force Hawk Ops is confirmed to release on PC next month. The free-to-play tactical first-person shooter is set to deliver a dynamic blend of gritty realism and futuristic combat, all powered by the cutting-edge Unreal Engine.

For fans of high-stakes team-based action, this game promises an experience that can battle the likes of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Battlefield 2042. In fact, with the playtests and demos released in the past year, fans of the genre are pouring stellar reviews, even saying it is already more polished than a lot of finished games these days.



In the game, players will be transported back to 1993 to relive the pulse-pounding Delta Force Black Hawk Down campaign. As an elite Delta Force operator, you’ll experience intense, boots-on-the-ground missions inspired by real-world events, with every explosion, firefight, and urban engagement reimagined in stunning detail.

The second timeframe the game takes place is in 2035 where you’ll join G.T.I., a peace-keeping unit established by former Delta operators. Here, you’ll be facing a new enemy, the Haavk Corporation. In this futuristic setting, you’ll need to master advanced combat gadgets and work seamlessly with your squad to outwit enemies and unearth the dark secrets of Ahsarah.

It was only last year when Tencent breathed new life into the franchise, announcing a revival of Delta Force for PC, consoles, and mobile. Since then, they have been busy hosting several playtests and demos to continually improve the game and give justice to the franchise. The last one was October’s Steam Next Fest where the game garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews from fans.

And now, the game is moving forward into an exciting new phase. The global open beta, previously referred to as Early Access, will be the initial release version and will be available for PC on December 5. Don’t worry for console players, this version is estimated to release Q1 of 2025.

The Delta Force Hawk Ops open beta will feature the first season called Genesis. With it are new content including a new Operator, adding to the existing roster of seven published on the official website. Alongside this, are fresh FPS gameplay modes and unique battlegrounds in both Warfare and Hazard Operation. The former is a massive 32v32 mode, while the latter is a squad-based PvPvE.

Leading up to the Delta Force Hawk Op PC launch, more information will be revealed on new weapons, vehicles, appearances, UI, game mechanics, language options, and more.

While the game is free-to-play, there will be paid content available in the open beta which includes Battle Passes, weapon appearances, and vehicle appearances.

There is no preorder bonus for Delta Force Hawk Ops but there are pre registration rewards, and they are nothing short of awesome! These bonuses come in tiers and will unlock depending on how many people have preregistered.

When we first published the rewards, the number was close to 1M which unblocked the first two tiers. And now, more than half a million users more, we are on our way to unlock the 4th tier.

The 10M users to unlock everything seem impossible before December 5 so we’ll have to retrieve these items in-game instead.
