When is Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War going to be released?
Black Ops Cold War will be launching on Friday, 13 November, for PC (Battle.Net), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The game will also be launched on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when the consoles become available.

Black Ops Cold War is set in the year 1981, after the events of the original story. Alex Mason, Frank Woods, and Jason Hudson are back this time as they are entangled in a high-stakes conspiracy that could have devastating results globally.
What are the available Game Modes in Black Ops Cold War?
Black Ops Cold War will feature a singleplayer campaign where players will be part of a newly-formed CIA ops. Players will be facing a series of operations as they try to prevent a global disaster to happen in the midst of a nuclear conflict.
Treyarch promises to reveal an “all-new Multiplayer experience” as well as a new chapter in Call of Duty Zombies in the months leading to the game’s release.
The game also supports shared progression with Call of Duty Warzone where players can add inventory items that can be used in both titles.
Does Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Support Cross-Play?
Black Ops Cold War supports cross-platform and cross-generation play. This means players on PlayStation 4 can play with those on Xbox One, and those in current-gen consoles can play with those on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Should you decide to upgrade to a next-gen console, your progress, stats, and profile can be carried over to your new device.
What are post-launch content planned for Black Ops Cold War?
Black Ops Cold War promises to bring a “massive calendar of free, post-launch content, including Multiplayer maps and modes.”
A Battle Pass system will also be included, with unified progression “across both Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone.”
Will there be a Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Beta?
In the game’s PS4 trailer, Treyarch revealed that a beta for Black Ops Cold War will be available, but a schedule, as well as eligibility requirements, are yet to be announced.
The beta will be open for players who pre-order the game digitally on PS4 first. According to Treyarch, PS4 players will get to try the game at least 5-days ahead of everybody else. Charlie Intel also reports that the beta will last for a maximum of two days.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Officially Confirmed
Rumors about a new Call of Duty game have been going around for months, and finally Activision has decided to lift the veil. The official Call of Duty Youtube channel uploaded a new video on 19 August, titled, “Know Your History.”
The short teaser confirms the new COD title: Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. Obviously the game is set during the Cold War, and is “inspired by actual events.”
More details about the game will be revealed on 26 August, so stay tuned!
