Pokémon Presents: Everything Announced During Pokémon Day 2024
9 months ago | Gaming News Happy Pokémon Day 2024 trainers! To celebrate the day, The Pokémon Company has held its first Pokémon Presents of 2024 and below is everything that was announced during the event.
The 9th Gen of the mainline Pokèmon games, bringing a new take with an open world approach, but one that terribly fails to deliver with a game in a terrible state, coming from a multibillion and one of the most popular franchise out there, The Pokémon Company had no right to deliver this kind of experience, extremely buggy at launch and with poor performance. Things are a bit better, but not enough especially those not caring about the competitive scene. Better try gen 8 or wait
While the game offers a captivating story and engaging characters, its attempts to modernize the gameplay leave much to be desired. Unfortunately, the execution falls short, resulting in a less-than-smooth experience. Even simple tasks like having three Pokémon or characters on screen at once cause noticeable lag and interruptions in gameplay.
Pokemon Violet is probably not the best title in the franchise, but it’s worth trying if you like its universe. There are some performance issues though, but nothing gamebreaking. Graphics seems worse than in previous opus, but pokemons themselves are a lot better.
The latest entry in the official Pokemon videogame franchise, alongside Pokemon Scarlet lets us explore the open-world of Paldea. Choose your character, a starting Pokemon and go out into the world to catch more Pokemon companions and train them. Challenge gyms across different locations and try to achieve the Champion Rank, besides the campaign, you can also play against other players online or join them and tackle the extra game modes.
Pokémon Violet brings some interesting new innovations such as a completely open world and a fun new Let’s Go! mechanic that speeds up fighting. The fact that you can now take multiple paths really helps to diversify gameplay and the narrative behind is the best the series has to offer.
