About Lies of P

A twisted tale of the story of Pinocchio where you are the puppet created by Geppetto. Set in the elegant Belle Epoque era offering an exciting souls-like game. There had been strange voices that awoke you in the troubled city of Krat. You would have to uncover mystifying secrets of the city’s elite, adapt to the strange weapons available and choose to either tell the truth or lie in each predicament that you find yourself in.

Lies of P Reviews

Lies of P had me hooked from the get-go, and it never let up. The combat system has a ton of layers of complexity, the bosses are fiercely difficult but provide immense catharsis once you have beaten them, the character customization systems are addictive and the story was an entertaining, dark reimagining of Pinocchio.

Overall, there is plenty to explore within the confines of its vast yet linear areas and it rarely has a dull moment with plenty of enemy variety, incredible boss fights, and some truly spectacular visuals.

Other than these small issues, Lies of P is an extremely enjoyable game to play through. The feel of the world, the setting, and the combat all seem to have real impact; frankly, these elements are great. The camera and jumping are not quite so good, but in all, Lies of P is an absolute pleasure to take in…If you like a Soulslike, you will like Lies of P.
