Dead Space Remake is a survival horror game developed by Motive Studios a modern reimagining of the first game of the Dead Space franchise released in 2009 to many accolades, set in the 26th century, you play as the engineer Isaac Clark a crew of a repair vessel assigned to the USG Ishimura, a massive planetary mining ship that has mysteriously gone silent. While investigating a distress call sent by the ship’s medical officer (Isaac’s girlfriend), the vessel’s crew is attacked by mutated human corpses; stranded alone on the ship you must defend yourself and try to save your surviving crewmates and learn the truth behind the USG Ishimura.
The Dead Space Remake has no flaws for me. It took one of my favorite franchises and reinvented it perfectly. It is stunning to look at, and every single change or addition they made works. This remake is a masterpiece and I hope that this is the rebirth that the Dead Space franchise deserves.
Players who went through the original Dead Space will appreciate the small changes and massive improvements this remake offers, while first-time players can experience one of the best horror games of all time, now rebuilt for a new generation.

One of the best horror games that released this year (although RE4R takes the cake!). Dead Space 1 has always been great, and I hope it’s a new start for a “soft reboot” of the series.
The atmosphere of Dead Space has been perfectly transcribed here. The atmosphere is heavy, suffocating, dark, a true horror game as we like it, with a pure immersion that is reinforced by the soundtrack, which is also perfectly crafted. Hearing Isaac’s voice is an added pleasure, and the technical leap taken justifies the purchase of the game in my opinion. It’s short but intense, a rather singular experience, which few players have regretted to my knowledge.
This year hit off wery good with the release of Dead Space Remake. With stunning graphical improvements, the game stays true to its original version. It offers smoother movement as well as more detailed environment, which makes the experience a lot more immersive. Certainly, this is one of the best survival horrors ever made, and remake is worth playing even if you perfectly know this iconic title.
A remake of the original Dead Space released almost fifteen years ago, which is more than just a fresh coat of paint on a game that still holds up quite well in terms of gameplay, but also visually, thanks to an accurate use of lighting to create a terrifying environment.
Accompanied by some QoL upgrades, such as the ability to move in all directions during zero gravity sequences. In short, the remake is able to satisfy fans of the series with a series of gameplay touches.
The remake of Dead Space has some technical and visual improvements as well as some new details and story content. If you liked the original it’s very likely you’ll enjoy this one a lot. It was not a needed remake in my opinion. the original aged very well and still is a joy to play, but it’s still welcome because it’s so faithful to it’s roots. I will wait some more time to get my hands on it at an even lower price.
