About this game

Aragami 2 is a third-person stealth co-op action game developed by Lince Works, you are an Aragami your kind are elite warriors gifted and cursed with shadow essence, a mystical ability that grants you the ability to control and manipulate shadows, these powers are used to do infiltration missions and assassinations. It has been 100 years since the events of the first game, and yet the Rashomon valley is still being regularly invaded by foreign armies, free the valley and protect your enslaved people once again.

• Play the full campaign in single-player mode or form a league of assassins in three-person online co-op mode.
• Use your shadow powers to perform quick stealth actions like shadow leaping into cover, going invisible, performing stealth kills, non-lethal takedowns, and many more.
• Unlike the first game you now have the option of fighting foes directly by entering combat, use this wisely for this will not be a duel, once you are spotted enemies will swarm to your position and they will not hesitate to jump on you all at once.
• Build your own shadow assassins: purchase new weapons and armor at your village. level up with using three skill trees: the stealth-focused spirit, the shadow-focused ghost, and the battle-focused demon. These paths accentuate different aspects of Aragami’s fighting style you may go all in one tree or pick and choose which skills and passive abilities suits your playstyle best.

It isn’t perfect though, and seems to be missing that little bit of polish required to lift it to the top tier of gaming. If you can look past that, there’s a good little game here waiting to be played. If you have Game Pass, its’ a no-brainer, but even if you haven’t, you may find that you wouldn’t have enjoyed a ninja game this much since the original Tenchu. That is high praise indeed.

The game can feel like a chore if tackling the beginning alone, but it does become more bearable with new abilities. The visuals are lacking in general detail, but were updated and are noticeably different. Ignoring minor bugs with visuals, lag, no singleplayer choice, there is a quality game here that adds to the ever-changing library of Game Pass. Give it a go!
