    About this game

    A Hat in Time stars a tiny girl with a big tophat on a space adventure. Her journey stops when her fuel, the Time Pieces, scatters across a nearby planet. To resume her trip, Hat Kid must leap, fight, and craft hats while facing the Mafia of Cooks, goofy birds, and spooky shadows of Subcon Forest!

It has put you in the paint program for the same reason it does everything else: because whereas most games are content to occupy your time, A Hat in Time has something it wants to show you.
