As expected and very much hoped for, February just delivered a surprise addition to Xbox Game Pass. Many members felt that this month’s lineup was a bit on the stingy side, though it was hard to deny the quality of the games included. Balatro Joins Game Pass With a New Update Showcasing Big Collabs

It’s official, Balatro has just shadow-dropped onto Xbox Game Pass, confirmed during the ID@Xbox showcase. With February coming to an end, most players had already shifted their attention to March’s lineup, assuming the month was done. But in a last-minute twist, an award-winning, fan-favorite game just made its way to Game Pass, making for one of the best ways to close out the month.

On top of the surprise drop, Balatro has also just received its latest Friends of Jimbo update, which brings some massive gaming crossovers into its card cosmetics. The update introduces a fresh wave of themed decks, each paying tribute to major franchises that fans will instantly recognize.

To accompany this update, Balatro released a new trailer showcasing the exciting collaborations. Players can now spot card designs featuring some of the biggest titles including Assassin’s Creed, Fallout, Critical Role, Bugsnax, Civilization VII, Dead by Daylight, Slay the Princess, and Rust.
