Overview: Release, Developer, and Platforms

Badlands Crew is releasing today on April 28, 2025, on Steam. The game was developed by Runner Duck, known for Bomber Crew and Space Crew. It’s published by Curve Games. In the game, you will build your vehicle from scratch and fight against other vehicles and factions. Unfortunately, the game is single-player only. So, there’s no online PvP multiplayer or co-op.

Badlands Crew Gameplay: Build, Command, and Survive

At the start, you need to build your own war chariot to defeat your strong opponents. You can equip this vehicle with various components like: flamethrowers, sniper rifles, machine guns, watchtowers, medical stations, wheels, engines, armor, and much more.

Then you’ll head out on missions with your vehicle where you must fight against enemy vehicles. However, you must proceed strategically. You have to command all your crew members. They need to man the guns, repair the vehicle, heal your wounded, and more. And all this while you’re surrounded by enemies and have to dodge giant sandworms.

By completing missions, your crew naturally gains experience. You can use this experience to turn them into a group of elite warriors with unique abilities. This allows you to adapt your crew to your playstyle. You should also equip your fighters with armor and weapons to boost their chances of survival in the next battle.

Campaign and Game World

The campaign in Badlands Crew is dynamic and evolves as you play. You can choose your own path through the Badlands, and your decisions will influence the course of the story. You can strengthen or weaken some of the warlords along the way. Overall, there are four rival factions that rule the Badlands: Gun Freaks, Pyros, Vultures, and Clowns. And they’re all led by a mad warlord.

The further you progress in the story, the more dangerous the enemies become. But you also grow stronger, you can find new parts and thus keep upgrading your vehicle. That’s why it might be worth taking a detour now and then just to find new parts for your war chariot.
