Atomfall has become a massive success for Sniper Elite developer Rebellion after the studio announced the game had reached 1.5 million players since its release. The game is now the company’s best-selling launch title, surpassing Sniper Elite 5 and Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 4.
Rebellion has scored a major milestone with its new survival-action FPS Atomfall, which the studio says has surpassed 1.5 million players since its launch on March 27, 2025. The first-person shooter is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Expressing his delight, Rebellion CEO and co-founder Jason Kingsley told fans that “to have surpassed the 1 million players in such a short space of time speaks volumes for the creativity and dedication of the entire team here at Rebellion.”
Record-Breaking Launch for Rebellion
Atomfall released on March 27, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and has since become the best-selling launch title for Rebellion, having now been played by over 1.5 million players.
Sharing other details, Rebellion revealed a disappointingly low 300,000 cups of tea have been enjoyed, 4 million pasties eaten, and there has been 3.7 million kills with a cricket bat.
