It’s only one week left before MechWarrior 5 Clans launches and Piranha Games is setting the tone right. Alongside the release of new gameplay footage, a free invasion DLC bonus, and the reveal of the Digital Collector’s Edition, is the announcement that the game will officially be part of Xbox Game Pass on day one. Saying that subscribers are ecstatic may even be an understatement.



Piranha Games and Microsoft confirmed that MechWarrior 5 Clans will be available to play for free for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC members on October 17. Being that this is a day-one launch, Standard tier members will have to either buy the game or wait at least a year before even possibly seeing it in their catalog.
