Xbox Game Pass January 2025 new additions start soon. Here are the titles confirmed to welcome the new year!
Update January 24 – Xbox Game Pass wave 2 for January just got a whole lot better! The announced lineup was already a big one with multiple day-one launches but Microsoft isn’t done exciting members this month. During Xbox Developer Direct, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black shadow dropped on PC and Ultimate Game Pass, adding another great title to the catalog. Members can now enjoy this remastered version of the classic Ninja Gaiden 2 for free!
Update January 22 –Microsoft has just revealed the official Wave 2 lineup for Xbox Game Pass in January, and it’s a massive one! Gamers can look forward to a staggering 12 new titles in the service, with the first one added yesterday. Today is another big day (specifically for Standard members) with 7 titles joining Game Pass. Also part of the announcement is the confirmation of Far Cry New Dawn joining on February 4. For the full list, scroll down.
Update January 8 – Microsoft has finally announced the official January wave 1 list for Xbox Game Pass. Apart from Carrion and Road 96 which have already been added to the catalog, six more titles will join in the first half, of which 4 will do today for the Standard tier (Lightyear Frontier, My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, and Rolling Hills).
The other two (EA Sports UFC 5 and Diablo) will be on the 14th and will be added for Ultimate and PC Game Pass catalogs.
Original publication – 2024 has been an absolutely fantastic year for Xbox Game Pass. We’ve seen a constant stream of amazing games added to the library, from day-one releases of blockbuster titles to hidden indie gems.

While the official announcement for the January lineup has not been released, there are already 5 confirmed titles to welcome 2025 including 3 day-one launches.
