Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is getting another game this month. EA Sports NHL 25 is officially coming to Game Pass April 10th.
April’s already been a wild ride for Xbox Game Pass fans, and just when we thought the month, or even just Wave 1, couldn’t deliver any more surprises, it did. Xbox has officially confirmed that NHL 25 is joining the Game Pass lineup, and hockey fans have every reason to celebrate.
NHL 25 Joining Xbox Game Pass
Xbox made it official through their Threads account: NHL 25 will be skating onto Xbox Game Pass Ultimate via EA Play on April 10. Yes, you read that right another EA Sports heavy-hitter is landing in Game Pass, giving fans yet another top-tier title to dive into.
This addition continues Xbox’s strong partnership with EA, giving Ultimate members access to the latest sports titles without paying full price. EA Play has already brought us greats like Madden, FIFA, and F1, and now NHL 25 is lacing up for the same treatment.

While EA Play is included with Game Pass PC too, NHL 25 is not available on PC. In fact, according to reports, there are no plans for the NHL series to come to PC anytime soon. So if you’re a PC player, you might have to sit this one out, or fire up your console. Still, this is big news for Xbox console players and fans of the franchise.
As of this writing, 14 titles are confirmed for Game Pass in April including six day-one titles.
