The year is ending but Xbox Game Pass December wave 2 list has not been announced. Are we getting more games this year?

2024 has been an incredible year for Xbox Game Pass, delivering a continuous stream of high-quality games including consistent day-one releases , solidifying its reputation as one of the best value services in gaming. Each month brought a diverse lineup of new titles and classic favorites, keeping subscribers engaged and eager for more. And that’s why it’s no surprise that as the year winds down, the final titles entering the service are met with high anticipation and excitement.

Wave 1 of December’s offerings set the bar high with fan-favorite releases like Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, the day-one launch of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and the surprise addition of Hunt: Showdown 1896. But of course for many subscribers, Wave 2 represents a proper year-ender, much like the grand finale to cap off Xbox Game Pass this year.

But here we are, approaching the final week of December, and still, no official announcement has been made for the Wave 2 titles. While this might seem unusual at first glance, it’s actually consistent with the trend we’ve seen in the past two years. For December, Xbox Game Pass has now foregone a Wave 2 update. Even the wave 1 announcement was very telling as 2 titles for January were already confirmed.

Unless there’s a sudden change and an announcement is made, we can all now just enjoy the titles currently in the library and get excited for January’s lineup which now has 4: Carrion, Road 96, Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector.
