WoW Patch 9.1: Sanctum of Domination – Content, Bosses, and Item Levels
Blizzard released WoW Patch 9.1 to the PTR, and we’ve got details on its content, bosses, and item levels.

What’s in WoW Patch 9.1?
Patch 9.1 brings with it tons of content including the following:
- New Maw: Korthia, City of Secrets
- New 10-boss Sanctum of Domination raid
- New Mega-Dungeon: Tazavesh, The Veiled Market
- New Torghast content
- Flying
- Mounts usable in the Maw
- New Covenant Cosmetic Armor Sets
- Season 2 Rewards (Shadowland)

The status of Patch 9.1 on the PTR
All introductory quests for patch 9.1 and the events around the Maw and the Ardenwald are already working perfectly and could almost be uploaded directly to the live server. Of course, the in-game cinematics still have placeholders so as not to spoil the important story content around Sylvanas, Tyrande etc. yet.
The first videos will probably be dug up by dataminers in the next two to three weeks. The pact assaults (alternating events similar to the BfA/Legion assaults) are also already implemented — at least half of them. The Venthyr and Nachtfae pact assaults are not yet in play as of this writing.

Sanctum of Domination Raid Bosses
Here are the bosses you will encounter in the new Patch 9.1 Chains of Domination raid, Sanctum of Domination:
- The Tarragrue – the guardian of the Torghast
- The Eye of the Dungeon Master – so far known in the game as Mechanics in the Maw
- The Nine – these are Val’kyr Sylvanas’
- Remnant of Ner’zhul – Ner’zhul was the first Lich King to seduce Arthas
- Dormazain, the soul shredder – serves as a procurer of anima for the Suffering Forger.
- Sufferingsmith Raznal – Dormazain’s boss
- Guardian of the First – there is no explanation for this Encounter yet
- Fatescribe Roh-Kalo – probably then translated as Fatescribe Roh-Kalo guards the secret writings of Korthia
- Kel’Thuzad – once again you will have to deal with Kel’Thuzad and his life-giving phylactery, this time at the end of the soul stream.
- Sylvanas Windrunner – hunt for Madame Windrunner on the top of Torghast, across the Gap and into the Convergence.
There’s also news for the loot hunters among you, because the WoW dataminers have already recorded the item levels of the loot of the Sanctum of Domination. Not surprisingly, the items of the last two bosses Kel’thuzad and Sylvanas have a higher value than those of the previous bosses.
