UK Charts: Elden Ring Fastest-Selling Souls-Like Game
Elden Ring released 25 February, and has already become the fastest-selling Souls-like game ever after hitting the top of the UK video game boxed charts.

FromSoftware have such a high reputation within the video game industry that any game they announce instantly becomes a must-have for any gamer.
FromSoftware’s most recent game, Elden Ring, released last week and has smashed the sales of their previous games.
The incredible launch has seen it beat other FromSoftware games such as Dark Souls, Dark Souls 3, Demon’s Souls, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Bloodborne.
The GfK UK boxed charts place 63% of Elden Ring’s sales on PS5, 17% on Xbox, 17% on PS4, and 3% on PC.
The GfK UK boxed charts only includes physical sales and not digital, which is why PC sales are low, as most PC sales typically come from platforms such as Steam and Epic Games Store.
Other games in the UK boxed charts include Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, Horizon: Forbidden West, and Call of Duty: Vanguard.
