UFL, the upcoming free-to-play football game, partly funded by Cristiana Ronaldo, is getting another open beta weekend. Developed by Strikerz and XTEN Limited, UFL hopes to break EA FC and eFootball’s dominance on consoles.
The game’s second open beta will be available to play on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S from Friday, August 2 to Sunday, August 4. To prepare for the beta, players can pre-download it now.
UFL’s beta weekend will feature offline and online game modes, allowing players to compete against one another. The developers also promise new mechanics, animation features, and improved club reputation and perk system. It will also include crossplay, so you don’t have to worry if your friends are on a different platform than you.
There’s no doubt that UFL needs to do something special to compete with EA Sports FC 25 and eFootball. That said, UFL is free-to-play, which should attract a lot of interest from football fans, particularly during the beta and at launch.
